Leeds Festival 2012

They say its grim up North..
Whether you agree with that or not for three days in August Yorkshire will be shining in all its glory whatever the weather as the Leeds festival kicks of its 13th Annual Music festival.
Situated in Bramham Park Wetherby with crowds in excess of 80.000 the Leeds festival is without doubt one of the biggest festivals in the country. With the cancellation of glastonbury and other big festivals Leeds festival if flying the flag for the big boys.

Leeds Festival Line up

Friday
The festival kicks off on on friday 24th August with a first day line up that most other fests would be happy with as their complete line up. The Foo fighter headline the first day. The rest of the line up is just as mouthwatering with the likes of The Black Keys, Kaiser Cheifs, Bullet For my Valentine, All time low, The gaslight Anthem, Eagles of death metal, Band of skulls and Pulled apart by horses. Plus stack more bands and DJs all day over 7 stages.

Saturday

Any younger festival goers who were on another planet during last years bestival and shrugged their shoulders when they heard The Cure are headlining on Saturday are in for one Hell of a surprise as they witness what will be one of the best live performances they have ever seen.

The newcommers to the live music scene will have been reassured with the likes of you me at six and Paramore. Also taking to the main stage are Bombay Bicycle club, Deaf Havana, Coheed and Cambria, Crystal Castles, Angels and airwaves and Cancer Bats.

Sunday
Anyone who saw Florence and the Machine at any of last years festivals will be looking forward to sunday as the take to the stage for what promises to be another unforgettable performance. Also Doing their thing on the mane stage: The Vaccines, Enter shakari, The shins, OFWGKTA, Mystery jets and Blood red shoes.
